My vision to create apartments, houses and buildings in a holistic approach that emphasizes the user experience was born out of my constant preoccupation with questions about how we as people emotionally experience different physical spaces.
Already as a child I clearly remember feelings that arose every time I arrived at a built-up space. On the one hand these were feelings of joy, anticipation, innovation and awakening and on the other hand, I also remember buildings and urban spaces that evoked in me feelings of boredom, insecurity and sometimes reluctance and unwillingness to stay in place.
Later when I chose the professional track of architecture and interior design, the questions around the expressions of human emotional experience in the architectural space of everyday life continued to accompany me and therefore When I joined leading offices in the field of public construction and private construction, I chose to put this issue at the center. As part of various projects I led in the architectural firms "Rechter", "Archod Architects" and "Efrat Kowalski Architects", I began to apply the approach that advocates a harmonious combination of architectural design and interior design, an approach that was formed even when I worked on the nursery school project. The court in Tel Aviv and on detached houses and various urban renewal projects.
This worldview accompanies me even today and is at the center of all the projects that Studio FA leads. To me, the space in which we live, work or spend time has significant implications for our mental and physical health. Any space, whether private or public, can soothe, excite, stimulate the imagination and affect our human dynamics and quality of life. Such a match between man and space can be achieved with the help of formal planning and by using the right materials while referring to the data in the field. Like light, air and acoustic conditions. In recent years, in parallel with my work as an architect and interior designer, I have chosen to delve deeper into the issue of urban planning and its connection to the feelings of the potential user also in academia, and as part of research studies. For an MA degree at Tel Aviv University, I am researching how to improve, make pleasant and improve the quality of life through the architectural and design tool. "
